Learning a new language takes dedication and time. We find that most students, taking 1.5 hours of group class per week, can reach a conversational status (intermediate level) after a year to a year-and-a-half of study.
Students in private and immersion classes tend to go faster, but you can’t expect fluency by studying only a couple of hours per week. You can increase your rate of learning by completing all homework assignments, doing additional independent study, or even spending a few weeks studying abroad to jump-start your learning. Ask us for suggestions.
Spanish is the second most spoken language in the world; more than 350 million people speak Spanish as a mother tongue. The demand to learn Spanish has doubled in the last 10 years.
In 15 years, there will be 500 million Spanish speakers in the world. There are more than 30 million Spanish speakers in the USA and it is still growing. Every year more than 55 million tourists visit Spain.
Everyone starts at a different level. We offer an online test with individual follow up, and additional private placement tests as needed.
Most classes occur weekly for 1-1.5 hours.
There is no make-up or credit for any missed group classes.
A Make-up Class Credit will be issued when a class is cancelled with at least 24-hour advance notice. This can be done online at spanishlouisville.com. Classes cannot be rescheduled by phone.
Monthly membership fees are deducted via a credit card on the first of each month. We accept American Express, Discover Card, Master Card and Visa. 100% Spanish does not accept check or cash. Please note there is a $30 fee for all returned payments.
100% Spanish LLC does not require contracts. Monthly members may cancel their membership by properly submitting a cancellation request no later than 30 days prior to their next draft date via our web form which can found at office@spanishlouisville.com.
All new beginner/intermediate students receive a complimentary copy of 100% Spanish Language Center’s textbook. Other educational books and materials are an additional cost.
100% Spanish LLC is closed on Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, the Friday after Thanksgiving, and December 24th-January 1st. There are no classes or make-up classes held on these dates. 100% Spanish LLC will provide a minimum of 48 group classes per calendar year.
